i have detailed the hood yesterday night and i have used meguiars 83 then followed up with meguiar 9 (meguairs 8006 pad and 3M finish pad). it all looked good until the car hit the sun light this morning, i have seen lots of hologram all around the hood. Can someone tell me what to do next?

Is all the polishing residue gone? Maybe qd and wipe down to see if its still there

You'll need to go with something like Megs #80 before polishing with Megs #9. You stated you did this at night, are you using a work light of any kind? Have a white buffing pad?

yes i am using a rotary. so should i use 83 then 80 then follow by 9

Usually you can go right from M80 to LSP. Can you give us some more info on your process and what you are working on? What pads, speed, how large of a section...

You got it. Clean your 8006 pad good and go over it with 80. If you have a LC white pad I would use it. I can't speak for the Megs pads, I've never use them. Not saying the're bad, I just don't have any knowledge of them. Do you have any 80?

Keep in mind M80 has a pretty long working time and it can take a while for the abrasives to fully break down. Be sure you are working it until it goes clear.

LC pads are awesome, but something to keep in mind when using a polish with diminishing abrasives and the CCS pads, is that some polish can stay in those little pockets and not break down at the same time as the rest of the polish. Which could cause maicro marring or holograms. I've never seen this happen and it would be more likely with a DA, but it's something to keep in mind. ;)

i would get some m80 and try it out but do you have to wash the car again b4 appling lsp

You'll have to judge that yourself. If you have alot of dust it wouldn't hurt, or QD it. You're just correcting the hood right? Just hose the hood to get any dust off, dry and apply your LSP.

That would be up to you and depend on the LSP you choose. If your LSP is in the Meguiars line then the only reason you would need to wash is if you had excess dust or sling. Some sealants are said to have bonding issues because of the polishing oils in M80, which would only be an issue with non-Megs sealants. Nuba's should not be an issue at all.
