Here's mine, now SHOW me YOURS! (detail rigs only!!)

Ok guys, here's where I am at...

I purchased a 2005 Dodge Caravan late last year. Now I am about to get it ready for the detailling season.

There is a little bit of rust on the lower side of the vehicle so that will be the first thing I need to take care of.

Afterward I will have it fully wrapped. I called around this morning and prices seems to be in the 2000-4000$ range depending if I do the design myself or it I let the company do it for me. I am tempted to do it myself. I have decent design skills and have a good knowledge of photoshop. Any of you guys ever designed a vehicle wrap and if so do you have any advice or tricks for me?

Second part will be to remove all the seats except the driver's seat.

Where the front passenger seat used to be, I want to install some kind of small table/desk to setup a laptop and printer to print invoices for the customers.

At the back, I want to lay down a sheet of plywood so I can bolt some of the Equipment to the floor (Compressor, shelves, maybe a small water tank). Any of you guys ever done this? I am thinking of using the seat tracks to fix the plywood on. Not sure how to do it but it seems like the easiers and best way to do that. Any advice or tricks welcome!

Last, I think I found a way to have an easy setup for a canopy:
I purchased a 10' X 20' tarp. I will make a 12' Long contraption out of PVC tubing that I will attach to the top rack of the van. Then when I want to use the canopy, all I have to do is park the van next to the car I am detailling, unroll the tarp and fix it with 2 telescoping poles made of PVP at the other end of the car. To keep those solidly in place I am thinking of using a 5 gallon bucket filled with water and have the pole attached permanently to the bottom of each of the 2 buckets. If I can make it work I will post pictures.

I will post pictures of the process once I get started. I did not detail the van since I got it, it was really dirty and now at the end of that nasty winter, it's 5 times worse :) So don't be in shock when I post the first pictures LOL.

Make sure you find out what dpi the printer expects. Otherwise your home brew wrap will be whack.
