Hey, like some people I've been reading for awhile and this is my first post.
I live in Woodbury Minnesota. I have a 1993 BMW 325i that I will be working on, repainting the whole car, redoing the interior and all that good stuff :buffing:. Unfortunately it's getting cold very cold and I don't like working in cold weather. So I guess i'll be researching more throughout the winter. But hopefully I can start when the weather warms up which won't be for along time. So i'll probably ask a lot about detailing for the next summer.:dblthumb2:

Yep i'm going to paint the car myself from all the knowledge I gained from the internet :D. I've never painted a car before or detailed. So this will be very interesting and fun.

Definitely try to document the process with before and after pictures, tools used, cost of supplies, etc.

This will help others to make the "Go" or "No go" decision when it comes to trying to paint their car themselves. I've done this a couple of times now and it's a ton of work but if you're into your car and into hard, dirty work then it's a fun challenge.

Definitely, I will be taking pictures of my progress. I love hard work on cars It's worth it at the end. :D
 
Welcome from yet another Minnesotan, is it snowing yet? Good luck on your project, it is a lot more than I would be willing to take on.

Thank you, its not snowing I don't think is going to snow until like another month. It's just very very cold now.
