:DNew here chiming in to say hey.looks like you all have a good site going here.Good Info.I have a little experience with buffing and polishing, Iv been into cars etc for 30 years.I got into power boats around 1990,So buffing big areas takes a hell of alot more of my time, I just got a new paint job on my Hustler, came out pretty good,Ive been using the ultrafina and blue 3m pad trying to get that last little haze out, Ive been buffing at night, you can see a hell of alot more imperfections, almost enough to make ya go crazy ,the meguiars nxt wax ,Ive used it for a few years but now its leaving a greasy smear look, the micro towels get most of it, but the diaper seems to get the rest, I had it in a car show last weekend showing it off, They claim you can use it down to 55.its tuff polishing something that big when its not going good.Your arms turn to marshmellows.Maybe warmer weather might help or go back to a carnuba wax?Any suggestions?

Thanks
Rob:cheers:

Nice boat, but I would hate to buff that!

Thanks,Ive been killing myself on it,I'm ready for some clear warm weather to finish it up,I am having to sew in some Kimberly Clark evolution 4 car cover material,to the bottom side of the sunbrella canvas cover, its alittle abrasive in the wind, they said this was the softest material and drys quick,I sure don't want to mess up my new paint job.

Thanks
Rob:cheers:

here some picks of my cars, I go thru some wax;)

Rob,

The boat and the cars are killer! You have some fun ways to fulfill that need for speed.:props:

Thanks guys,I'm in Madison by the Reservoir.

Jake the boat is my favorite ,when it was stock it had 500hp.I built it up and put Whipples on the engines,Its now at 868hp and 866tq.I gained around 350hp and I'm running 105mph,It pulls real hard now:cheers: rob

:welcome: to Autogeek! Nice boat, cars, and truck! :dblthumb2:

BTW, which version of NXT are you using? The original or the 2.0? If you're still using the original might want to consider switching to the 2.0, as it is the bomb! :xyxthumbs:

Thanks, sorry miss your post,Ive been using the 2.0 and having good luck with it,The deck of the boat a fly cant even land on it,lol I bought the Premium and it was too greasy, like it has too much silicone.
