Hello to all from Long Island. I'm new to the board but not to Auto Geek or to detailing.
I'v been detailing for 20+ years. I started out in new car dealerships and was taught the old school way from old school detailers. It's amazing how much this industry has changed through the years. And just for the record, I LOVE steam!! lol
I'm currently a weekender detailer with the idea of someday doin it full time. I'm looking forward to the coming season. I hope the weather breaks soon. At least I'll have a lil time to get myself setup.
Thanks to Auto Geek for this forum. Theres so much good info, and the "how to" threads are great. I think it's a awesome place for newbie detailers to start. I'm currently starting train a friend of mine and I directed him here and told him to start to read, read, read.
Cya around the board,
Jimmy
