Just joined the forum, Ive been looking around here for a few weeks. I have been detailing my own cars since I was 15. Started off with a custom painted Eclipse (back when import were "in" I guess if you can say that", I have had my share of vehicles over the years, now at 24 I have my first black car. Always wanted black, had just about every other color, but this is my first black car. 2011 Fusion, in tuxedo black. Its an awesome color, tons of flake. Most people don't believe its factory paint. Trying to pick up on tips to keep it looking its best. Unfortunately its a losing battle. The car is forced to sit in a dirt/gravel lot most of the day (work, $2 billion brand new steel mill doesn't believe in paving...) Lots of great info here and I am looking to learn all I can.

Welcome to the forums! There is plenty of knowledge about correcting and maintaining paint here.
