Got to the 3rd video and YUP...thats Mike P!
Looks like Mike lost alot of weight since then!
Yes that is me and yes I have lost around 20 pounds since those days...
For anyone that doesn't know, I worked for Meguiar's for a total of 11 years.
I also,
Started and ran the MeguiarsOnline.com discussion forum and am still have the highest post count to this day.
Started the Saturday Detailing 101 and 102 Classes
Started the Thursday Night Open Garage clinics
Wrote the Zaino Case Study, which documented how Zaino carved out a strong niche following via discussion forums. Keep in mind, when I wrote the Zaino Case Study, discussion forums were a "new thing" and older people didn't know or understand the forum world.
From the Zaino Case study I wrote the concept paper for NXT Tech Wax. My original paper recommended a pure synthetic to compete against Zaino because everything until NXT in the Meguiar's line either had Carnauba wax or Cleaners in it and the "market", that is online car enthusiasts waned an ALL synthetic sealant from Meguiar's without any cleaners in it.
In 2004 NXT was launched and went from ZERO sales, (because it was brand new), to the number one selling wax in America by August of 2004 and that has never happened in the history of the automobile. Only three people ever gave me credit for NXT, one would like to remain anonymous, my good friend #### Koeth who passed away last year and Atticus Firey, a former Vice President of the company.
The above is the short list, I have the original list of the 12 major contributions I made to the company from 2002 to 2012 that I handed to Barry Meguiar when I stepped down from Meguiar's to come to work for Max here at Autogeek...
