HHR Panel for Mobile Detailing unit?

Nice job Josue! What did you use to clean up the gum?

the same client that i did the hood paint correction had schedule me for a full correction on his hyundai genesis. the swirls werent that bad to remove. frankly, this all i did.. rinseless wash, onr as a clay lube and Speedy Surface Prep Mitt - Medium Grade.. did a test spot, and i used hd speed. when the paint isnt that bad, this is my go to aio. i used my trusted rupes, rupes blue foam pad, and speed. polished the whole car, and as a final step and for the wow factore, i used hd proxy. the client couldnt have been happier. he was so happy, he instagrammed a video right there.

this is how the trunk looked like before.

like many have said before.. not only do you have to be a good detailer, you also have to be a great business man. with this in mind.. i educated my client why a hydro2 application would really make his car shine and give it that glass-glossy look to his paint and also protect it. after giving him a quote on it he decided to go for it.. these were the results..

just to note, i didnt apply the hydro 2 in direct sunlight, i did it inside those garages and in the shade while it was still early in the morning.
i love upselling to hydro 2, its so easy to apply.. and the wow factor is incredible.

Damn you kicked butt on those seats!!! NICE work

those seats almost kicked my butt!! but i fought back with a vengeance. thanks for noticing :xyxthumbs:

Nice job Josue! What did you use to clean up the gum?

thanks for always noticing my work frank.. as for the gum.. the van had gum almost everywhere. i used my mcculloch steam cleaner and it came of easily on the leather seats.. but on the interior plastic..thats another story.. i used steam, but would spray megs apc and somehow that helped loosen it, scrub, steam, wipe.. and thats how i got it to come off.

How do you like the Hydro 2? I have considered this and the Permanon Platinum spray and rinse sealants but the price turned me off. The ease of use looks too good to be true and I was skeptical of the results compared to a traditional sealant. Looks good on those cars though! So, is it really worth the price?

i love hydro2, i try to upsell it all the time. yes, it can be pricey, but out of a 500ml bottle, i can easily do 4-5 cars.. and depending on how you price your hydro2... you can easily make that money back, and gain alot more! you will be happy, and your customers will have the "wow factor" on the results, and a hydro2 application is so fast to do.:dblthumb2:

i want to thank my buddy and forum member frankS for sending business my way. he called me today telling me that he couldnt make it from west palm beach to miami to do a job and was nice enough to pass it along to me.

Love this thread. I like how you keep posting updates. I subscribed. I happen to be in the market for a hhr panel as well 👍

Awesome job! A true inspiration!

How do you like the Harbor Freight inverter generator? Noise level? How does it hold up in regards to the equipment you're running? Would you recommend it?

hello! thanks for reading the thread on the hhr.. im glad this inspired you in any way! im happy with the harbor freight inverter aka honda knockoff. lol.. it looks just like it. as far as noise, its pretty quiet.. i havent had any complaints from my customers or their neighbors. it holds up pretty well.. just the other day i was called to do an interior.. and i connected my steamer, my vac and my electri power washer.. and everything worked fine.. the only complain that i have is that when i start it up.. sometimes i will have to turn it off until the green light turns on.. i mean, it turns on fine.. but the green light doesnt come on.. i called harbor freight and they told me to take it back.. but ive been busy.. and honestly after a couple of off/on tries, the light lits up and its all business after that.

i want to share some of the jobs ive done with my hhr..and i must say, its attracts people like flies. im always approached when im working in any neighborhood and people always ask for my business card and they always leave telling me that they love the hhr.

this was a quick wash and wax.. from this neighborhood alone, ive gotten 5 clients..

sorry that they are not quality shots, but i always forget my dslr camera.. and the best that i can do is cell phone shots..

this is the vehicle that helped bring in most of the clients from that neighborhood.. as you can see.. i was in a corner street.. and everyone that passed by saw me in action and stopped and asked for cards.

i just did this one today. quick wash and wax.
