Well im back as you can tell. Some of you might remember me. I was the guy with the 240sx with the front end missing half the paint. Well after painting it the engine started crapping out on me so I sold it. RIP stupid 4 cyl. So for the past 2 months or so I have been hunting for a car and started looking into a C5 vette. Now.. I really don’t know much about them as I never thought I would have one quite this early. Thanks to the good job I have found im able to afford one. (Even after I prepare to get shafted with insurance.)
Anyways I remember a good bit of corvette owners come/post here is im asking for some advice. I found a 1998 C5 with a 6-speed for 12k. Im hoping to talk them down but if not I still can afford the payments. Its black with a red interior As they put (im taking this from the add) “ADJUSTABLE RIDE CONTROL, TARGA TOP, BOSE PREMIUM STEREO WITH CD PLAYER, ALLOY WHEELS, ALL POWER” blah blah blah. From what I can tell the outside looks good but the seats have wear to them.
What im asking is so far is this sounding like a good deal or should I keep looking. Also is there anything else I should check out other then the regular when buying a used car? I’ll go ahead and put up some pictures of the car so you can also see what I mean about the seats.
Also just for kicks here is the 240 after paint. (Waste of my time)
Heh if I do end up getting the C5 talk about an upgrade!
