I customize all of my cars personally, and from what I have been told I do a decent job. Otherwise, people are just being nice to me... The cars are all in good mechanical shape and well modified, but I have as of late been becoming more conscious of the cars' finishes. They look so-so, but I am ready to move with my cars to the next level. Each car has surface imperfections and scratches that have culminated into less than desirable appearance.
I recently picked up a Porter Cable random orbital buffer and the Meguiars kit with the 105 and 205 compounds. The big black Chevy is my first target with the roughest finish of the three. I look forward to reading and learning and doing!
These are my rides, and my motivation for getting into detailing:
Toy hauler, 96 K3500 crew cab long bed Chevy
Daily driver, 04 Mazda 6 V6 w/5 speed manual
Wifes truck and family hauler
