I am from Bangalore and just got on board. I am glad I did. Wow, what an amount of knowledge and experience. Can't believe how peer to peer contacts can work like majic. More than anything the iPAD welcome screen is simply awesome. As a newbie I have so much to learn and benefit here. Thanks! Can I pose a debutant's question; does Autogeek ship to India? Thanks and cheers

Hello there

A fellow Bangalorean Autogeeker. Autogeek is really an ocean of knowledge.Mr. Mike Phillips, and many other gurus on the forum.

Theres not a single issue with regards to detailing, that Mr Phillips hasnt addressed. Atleast as far as my detailing doubts are concerned. Anytime I do a google search wrt an issue, I'll definitely find an answer from Mr. Phillips on various forums. And his book "The complete guide to a show car shine" was what helped me get started and learning the basics. Really worth every penny.

Other than him every other member here is so knowledgeable. BobbyG is another person who also has extensive experience with detailing.

Do go through the reviews thread too. You will be surprised at what some of the products can really do. Especially Swanicyouth's recent reviews were very interesting reads. A shoutout to Nick@autogeek too. The first review I read of yours was the Collinite 845 one. Your attention to detail with each product is very helpful for a newbie like me.

As for shipping to India, Autogeek does ship but theres a minimum 100$ cap on the order and if I'm not wrong shipping also starts somewhat close to 100$ minimum. Plus shipping is via USPS which is excellent as long as it reaches India. After that its in the hands of our postal system and customs. Be ready to pay almost 30% of Order cost+shipping as customs duty.

In Bangalore the stuff.does arrive soon.

By any chance may I ask your real name too? Just in case I know you from other forums ;)

P.S nice username. Do you happen to know Mr. Nirmal by any chance? He is also on this forum and from Bangalore too.

Yes I am a newbie in Team BHP and I follow your posts and others in detailing forum there :) Thanks for confirming about AG shipping to India; 30% duties is expensive and I guess most stuff what I use are available thro' Bringingbest Mr. Sanjay or thro' Mr.Nirmal at Bangalore itself. Just in case I needed something more I shall look at this route/option. Thanks.

Haha I suspected you are a BHPian thats why I asked. Nice to have another BHPian here. If you dont mind can you PM me your handle that you use on teamBHP.

Yes you can get most of the stuff from Mr. Nirmal itself. He is my supplier. The import duties are a bit high I agree, but sometimes you do need to import some specialist stuff which Is difficult to get in India.

Lets catch up sometime. :)
