Just pulled the trigger on a new Honda CRV, and am pledging to look after it better than I did my old one, so that includes the washing and the waxing.. :)

Is there anything I need to do right off the lot? I'm getting the undercoating done at Crown..

Where'd be the best Canadian online place for getting supplies, and what supplies would those be? :)

Thanks!

You can find most of what you need in the detailing how-to's and asking questions on the forum. What color is the vehicle?

Thanks! It's 'Modern Steel Metallic (NH797M)'.

Auto Obsessed here in Edmonton has over 1400 products, (not affiliated, just am impressed customer, lol). Check them out at autoobsessed.com :) (i think)

Yup, I'm looking at all the stuff there.. My head hurts! :(

I suggest to coat the new vehicle and protect from start :)

Thanks!

I'm reading up on waxing now..

I remember when I bought my last new car 14 years ago I took it straight to a detailer and paid 100+ bucks for them to put a 'hard wax' or whatever the heck they called it on there..

And then I never waxed it again.. LOL

Like I say, I'm going to try to do better by this new car. :)

Thanks!

Ye Gods! My wishlist at auto-obsessed would pay for my trailer hitch! LOL

Hopefully it will all pay for itself over a few years, rather than going to a detailer every 4 months..

Welcome, have a look at oldetownautospa.ca

great service from Jeff, and he has great pricing too!

Hey welcome! AGO is a great place to learn :)

eshine is my go to for Canadian retailers

Thanks!

That Eshine site had some AGO products that the other one didn't, and some helpful articles..
