Hi fellow Autogeeks ...

I've been lurking around the forum for quite awhile now ...

...installed both Autogeek iPhone apps

... "liked" the Autogeek Facebook page (which is extremely busy and filled with useful tips and information)

... and thought it's time I introduced myself online ... :)

I'm AJ aka "Jughead" from Cape Town, South Africa.

I drive a 2010 VW Golf 6 GTi ... Tornado red (4-door) ... for the past 2 years ...

I've been "collecting" a huge range of Detailing products the past 2 years ... mostly from the Meguiar's Range ...
I have the Meguiar’s G220v2 (same as G110v2), and various products (Meguiar’s, Menzerna, Autoglym, Chemical Guys, Smartwax, Collinite, etc).
Mostly “maintenance” products and not much “correction” products …
Trying to maintain my vehicle … Also sent it once or twice to a pro detailer over the past two years for some attention J
My skills are still “Noob” level unfortunately, but learning something new every day via Autogeek…

Just wanted to mention that whoever is handling my current Autogeek order (W-Order ID 526291) ... a big Thank You (Kendra - Autogeek International/Customer Service)!!!!

The Detailing Products available in South Africa (especially Cape Town) are limited and pricey/expensive … but something’s got-to-give to feed this “Addiction” J

Anyways … Hope to get to know and learn from you and your work better … and hopefully my detailing skills will improve …

Watched all the Autogeek Youtube videos. (Really enjoy and learn a huge amount from them)...
Wish I could attend your Detailing classes :)

Here’s a pic of my car (taken in 2010 though).
Just had it detailed back then (Meguiar’s Clay, M205 Finishing Polish, Show Car Glaze, Synthetic Sealant and Hi-Tech Yellow Wax.)

Don’t have a recent pic (2012) at the moment.

Had it detailed (by a pro) in Feb 2012 again.
(Meguiar’s Clay, Meguiar's M101 Professional Foam Cut Compound and Meguiar's M188 Deep Crystal Coating)

Topped it again a few weeks with Meguiar’s Gold Class Wax (Had it in my trunk). Will top it off with a better wax soon.

So any tips, information, techniques, process, products, etc. my fellow Autogeeks (is this the correct name “we” call ourselves here :) )
Would like to share in order for me to maintain my Tornado Red VW Golf 6 GTi will be greatly appreciated.
