Hi...my name is Daniel and I'm from Greenville, NC. Thought that I would introduce myself. I HAVE NEVER DETAILED A CAR BEFORE!!! I'M IN PURE AMAZEMENT ABOUT WHAT IS ON THIS SITE.

List of Cars

04 Torch Red Cobra (Mine)
94 Opal Frost GT (Road Race Car)
93 Black Cobra (Brother)
89 Vert (Dad)
03 Blue Mach 1(Dad)(Garage Queen)
Red Honda S2000 (Fiance)

As you can tell I have a lot to work on. I stumbled upon this site about a month ago and joined the forum. I've been watching the videos, reading about all the produts, and reading about you guys feedback on products. I have also seen the amazing work you have done.

First Off let me say I have been washing my car the wrong way my whole life. I have already been putting together some products. Here is a list of what I have so far.

-2 Grit Guards
-MF Mitts
-Glass Cleaner
-Bug and Tar Sponge

I took full advantage yesterday on the sale. Here is the list.

-Wheel Wax
-Pinnacle Clar Bar & Lube
-Full MF Towel Kit
-Black Wow
-Wolfgang Wheel Cleaner
-Micro Fiber Cleaner
-EZ Detail Brush
-Poorboy's Wax (Blue)

Extreme Huh. Now I'm going to look into a PC or a Flex kit next. I'm going to do a good wash on the Red Car next weekend before a dyno day and test out some of the knowledge I have gained by reading with some of my new products.

Any Suggestions?

First Question: My 94 GT has a nasty pasty film on the glass. I've tried everything. It just continues to smear everywhere. Any suggestions?

Thanks

I recently started using newspaper to dry the glass. Don't know if this will help your problem!

Welcome from a fellow sn95 5.0er (btw Opal frost is probably the sexiest color).
If this pasty film is on the outside try some alcohol and water (50/50) to see it it will clean it. If not maybe the clay bar will remove it.

I can use the clay bar on the glass...the pinnacle one...or is there a special kind?

Yup it's fine on glass, just use it the same way you would on paint.
