Hi from NJ, I got several cars. A 69 Z/28, 03 MR2 Spyder just bought an 07 Aura in addition to a 01 Neon, 98 Explorer and 98 S10. All in my family. I got a 9424 for xmas and a box of pads. I figure I will work on the Camaro first. I had the car painted in 1974 a nice deep Marroon. However I needed my garage to store some stuff in for a few months one summer. Left the Camaro out under a cover and the paint got ruined. In addition to some blisters i got areas of faded paint and then just 6" away looks good. I know I can never bring it back to what it was but figure its a good car to practice on since the paint is shot anyway. So I got the buffer pads and no polish. Shopping for that now.
 
Glad to have you NJBOB. This is a great place to learn. If you have a question jump in someone will answer. You might want to do a search first. I have found answers to a lot of my question from using it.

Welcome to the board! What part of Jersey? I spent over 2 years there on a couple of projects. I flew in every Sunday to EWR and left every Thursday. The last project was in Short Hills.

Welcome! That is quite a fleet there. We have 5 if you include my son's car which I don't list anymore....yikes...lots to detail! have fun and be sure to share your work with us! We love pics!

I am in NW NJ a rural area. Yes in NJ does have rural areas lol. Hope to post pics of my cars soon.
 
As for your question, you would do well with some XMT polishes or Menzerna. Read up on those two and I think you will find all you need. Good luck.
