Hi everyone. I'm new to the site and just wanted to introduce myself. I've spent the last few days reading up on How To's and such from this website. There is alot of information here. I have recently started "detailing" (or so I thought!!) vehicles since losing my job in Feb. I actually really enjoy it. I like taking a dirty and neglected vehicle and turning it into a fresh work of art.
I'm just about to purchase my first bit of professional equipment. I would like some suggestions on what to buy. I recently used my friend's Porter Cable 7424 and was really pleased with it. I plan on purchasing the Porter Cable 7424XP kit on here for $199 that has a few pads with it. I am also looking at the Pinnacle Intermediate Swirl kit as well. I did notice that there is not an actual wax or sealant with the kit. My thought was to purchase the kit and just buy some Meg 2.0 Tech Wax to top everything off with. Does this sound like a good kit to get me started?
