Hi, my name is Lisa and I am a waxoholic, with a touch of OCD. I have been a waxoholic ever since I got my first car, which was many, many years ago.

In our house, I take care of our cars…I drive a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit and my husband has a Subaru Outback. And boy, am I ready for spring. I have been going through detail withdrawal, all winter. My withdrawal was so bad this year that I started using my car products (i.e. wax, sealant and good microfibers) on various items around the house-----the refrigerator, oven, range, dishwasher, marble tables, marble spoon rest, toaster, chrome bread box, counter tops, ceramic canister, shower doors, shower surround, sinks (stainless steel and porcelain) and all of my mirrors……and I had a great time.

But now it is my favorite time of the year….not because my flowers started to bloom, but because it is detailing time…….:dblthumb2:

Last weekend I did the following:

wash--CG foam gun w/citrus wash
clay--BF clay and lube
wash--CG foam gun/Maguire's
sealed---BF
waxed---Ps21
Instant Detailed---Pinnacle FFI
wheels---Somax WCFE
tires--Tuf Shine tire clear coat

Interior:
vacuumed again this weekend
shampooed---WG carpet restorer
leather seats---lexol
cockpit---303
windows---IG

Boy she looked good for about 24 hours, then it rained most of the week. So I guess I am going to have to sacrifice and play with my toy again this weekend:xyxthumbs:

I have been a lurker, for a long time, and finally decided to join….I am glad that I am now around people who understand and appreciate the art of taking care of your ride.

Awesome. I'm in Limerick PA. We need more women around this place.

Welcome to the forum Lisa! Any photos of the car?

I always wondered why more women don't take an interest in keeping their car/truck/suv looking good.

I take great pride knowing my Jeep looks awesome, and I am the reason that it does.

Besides, I think it is the best therapy that I don't have to pay for. There is nothing greater than getting immersed in detailing to forget your problems. :xyxthumbs:

Welcome from SW Pa. I know I enjoy being in my garage listening to my DVD`s and detailing my cars is the best therapy :)
