Just realized I never introduced my self since joining the forum. I figured I better say hi. I joined a couple months ago to fix some nasty holograms that another "professional" detailer generously gave me.

You know what they say. If you want something done right you have to do it yourself.

I have been hooked ever since. I've learned a lot from everyone already.

Hi jab1719,

Welcome to Autogeek Online! :welcome:

Yep, that's the norm for our industry, people calling themselves Pro's swirling out every car they touch usually through the misuse of a rotary buffer.

Did you get the swirls removed?

Good to hear! That's what we're here for...

I did get the swirls out. Probably took me 12 hours total but it was worth it.

Just got a compliment the other day from someone staring at it in the parking lot. I thought they were going to tell me they hit it.

Another win for the CG blacklight v7 combo.

Thanks guys

Small world I am out in Murrysville so basically in your backyard. Welcome

Welcome to all the locals from another Pgh resident, Upper St. Clair for me.
Looks like the weather is going to moderate for a few days, so it's time to get that extra coat of Collinite or equivalent rubbed in for the months ahead. 845 has served me well the last two winters, so this year we're beefing up the protection with 476 paste. I'm also well stocked with ONR and DG Rinseless for those occasional mild days.

Bill my truck is on my list for this weekend. Just received my Black Fire Wet Diamond sealant and Im very excited to give it a go.

Hi BillyJack, How do U like the 476 paste? I use the 845 on my garage cars for a deep shine. I might try the 476 on my truck thats outside all the time, In the winter the camaro gos to the wifes granmothers house and she parkes inside.

I've only been using the 476 since earlier this year, but I'm very impressed. Based on my impressions so far on DD's, I expect two passes of 476 to be only second best to a shrink wrap in durability. One coat is on already and I'll attempt another this weekend. My DD is outside 24/7 as my Camino gets the only open garage space.
