Found the forum a while back and been lurking for a while. I used to have a white Cadillac CTS that I purchased new about 10 years ago that I did basic detailing on. However, I just recently purchased a new black Silverado and I want to keep it looking better than new so I thought I'd get on here and start learning how to take care of a black vehicle in an area where the dust blows like crazy. I'll post questions in another thread, but just wanted to introduce myself.

Looking forward to learning - looks like there's been a great leap in the products available!
 
Welcome...where about in west Texas. Wife and I are looking in Kerr county.
 
Hi and Welcome to AG online. There's "a lot" of information to read and videos to watch so take a peek and consider purchasing the books from Mike Phillips. I learned enough that when I went to work polishing it was a breeze and my first car turned out better than I'd seen from any detailer or body shops around. It gave me the confidence to work on others cars as well. Now I have to hide to keep from someone else wanting their car to look like one they saw and asked who did it.
