Hey, I'm James - I live in Western New York (between Buffalo and Niagara Falls) and I've been detailing in a shop for a couple years, but decided this summer to get my own mobile detailing service going.
I offered my first official detail this last weekend, and it went very well, despite the car being a real piece of work when I started, and my not being satisfied at the end (though the owner was very stoked, which I guess is what really matters)

My blue 10ae Miata is in the background (it was a real joy fitting my entire operation in there - had to remove the passenger seat LOL).
If I wasn't supposed to post pictures here, my mistake - I don't know what the rules are for the Introductions Forum.
