Hi,
I'm Nick and I live in North Carolina. I have always tried to keep my cars up but it was just basic washes.
I own a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500, 4 door, 4x4. Just got it a couple years ago. It's a nice truck and I'm proud of it. I have waxed it with Turtle wax ice but didn't see much difference. I also learned that, it's to big to do by hand. It also has a lot of black trim that needs attention. Soon I want to add black fender flares and some wheels.
I also own a 74 and 72 VW super beetles. The 74 is a beater car pretty much. The 72 is my project car. I am currently chopping the top on it. Can't wait to get it done.

Anyways, I am learning alot from the site, just wish I could learn faster. I need to buy a buffer, I'm thinking the Griot's or PC.

Any help is appreciated, Nick

Welcome Nick. What part of NC are ya from? Im here in Charlotte. I have a PC and it is great for applying wax and light to medium paint correction. The brush attachments for carpet are great too. If your looking to see a big difference in your paint you wont find it with a wax alone. You need a good compound, polish, buffer, and pads. I would suggest the PC and Meguiars M105 and M205. They are an awesome and potent combo.

Hi Nick,

Welcome to Autogeek Online!

Cool project cars especially being the Super Beetle version. Easy to work on, parts are affordable and strong following. Plus you can make them fast and handle well too!

My best friend in Oregon has an all original 1954 Beetle and while it's really nice now days, there was a time when it was just another car we all thrashed as a daily driver!

:)

Thanks you guys for the invite.

I'm in Lewisville right beside Winston Salem.
