LOL If your Acura is "children trashed" I highly recommend that you pop on over to Target and pick up some Folex and Kids n' pets from their cleaning aisle. You'll need it for the carpet stains. :)

What's that?? I'm going to post before and after pics. Her car is so dirty, she has leather interior that has ground in stains.....the carpet....forget about. The paint hasn't been waxed in 1 1/2 years and it's dinged.....scratched and oxidized. My deal was I could buy all the products I wanted as long as I bring her car back to life.....between you and I, it will take a small miracle!!

The XMT line does a fantastic job on oxidation. You may have to make a second pass with the XMT 3 to get the swirls out, but don't worry if you have to do this. The PC is incredibly safe to use, but it also requires patience for the results. If your wife has leather seats then pick up some woolite too while you're at target.

The Kids n' pets is an enzyme cleaner and it's really good at getting out greasy food/drink type stains. The folex is a stain remover too that works really well on dirt and stuff like that. I like to use the Kids n' pets on known food stains because it works really well on them.

The woolite you mix with water (one part woolite to 10 parts water) and you'll use that to clean the leather and also the vinyl pieces in the car and on the door panels. I always use two buckets when I clean the interior with woolite. One bucket has the woolite mixture and a sponge, the other bucket has clean water and a clean hand towel to rinse the woolite off with. You need to rinse it right away or else it will leave streaks. After you rinse it dry it with a clean dry towel. If you should get streaks anyway, don't worry about it, just use the woolite water mixture again, followed immediately by the fresh water mixture and then dry it, and it will get rid of the streaks. You are then ready to apply your vinyl protectant and your leather conditioner. :)

You'll probably want to pick up a can of Scotchguard too while you're at the store so you can treat the carpets after they are clean and dry. It will help make future stains alot easier to clean. :)

That is the exact same deal my wife and I had, I had to restore her Volvo and it's no miracle XMT will restore the life back to your vehicle. It did on my wife’s 1995 Volvo 960. It had never been detailed properly, it had really bad swirls and deep scratches that I managed to remove...all using XMT line up.

If it's your first time, try using some blue tape. I found this helped me see drastic changes and helped me see where I've been....well it's obvious where you have already been it did help me, just my opinion though.

If you have any questions post them here and people will be more then willing to help you.

Thanks a ton! I'm trying to take in as much as possible. So far you have given me some great suggestions! I'll be a huge believer if I can bring that Aura back to life! When you see the before pics you'll know what I mean. I should get my AG package with the PC next week. Stay tuned................

Don't forget, XMT #4 is supposed to be out anytime and you may want to pick this up if the paint is real bad.

I think Meghan said it was supposed to be up today at 3. I haven't seen it yet though.

Good God man go with the shoes....Not that the hair care products wasnt a nice touch. But she needs different shoes for different outfits.....or the right tool for the right job. But then again run man run befoe its too late, this is kind of like a roach motel. Before long you will be driving around going OMG look at all these cars with swirls....

It's actually all good now! I promised her I would make her car showroom new!

I was going to get some Natty's Blue but when I placed my order Dwayne talked me into the Max Wax. I don't know much about it? I'm sure I'll get some next time though. Do you use the Duragloss AW for afterwards....spray detail?

yes use the AW once a month after you have polished, its a spray sealant more than a QD. A little goes a long way..like everything else thin to win. Personally I use 4* UGE as my QD. I really like the gloss it leaves. Everyone has thier favorites. What kind of Acura. I just sold my 2006 Black TL. I loved that car.

Sounds good!! My wife has a pearlescent white 2001 Acura TL. The kids have destroyed it. I will be impressed if I can bring it back to life.

Max Wax is a great choice, especially on metallic flake. The Aquawax is a great product too. You can use that after washing and drying as a quick detailer. It will extend the protection on your car and it looks great too. :)

That's comforting to know, I had Pinnacle Series 2 on the order and changed it to Max Wax. I am hoping to bring out more of the metal flake. Also, I will definitely pick up some AW on my next order. Thanks!

Signature Series 2 and Max Wax are very similar in appearance. Both are lovely waxes. :)
