High end carnubas

As many others have said years before I joined this form, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Once you get passed clean, shine and durability, relative to your tastes (some people want to wax every 3 months, others want their work to last years if possible), then all bets are off and subjectivity reigns.

When you get to this area of the spectrum, which I consider an extreme, then we are talking about "how" a person executes their hobby or habit; choosing a wax at this point is analogous to picking one shade of grey over another.

I completely agree that this is probably one of the most subjective issues to deal with. I personally do not buy boutique or high end waxes. I have been given samples of some highendwaxes in the past by people trying to sway my subjective opinion. For my money I always come back to either 845 or PB Natty. Now with that said I'm goign to put a layer of Dodo Blue Velvet, got a mini pot given to me this weekend.

To me the appearance is 90-95% the prep of the paint and the last little bit is the actual product. I'm a real fan of some of the least expensive products (IE Collinite or Duragloss) out there combined with solid cleaning and polishing steps.
