I am taking a poll. How much would you charge a customer with an average size car for a coat of the higher grade waxes? Supernatural, Swissvax Mirage, Swissvax Concorso, Swissvax Mystery are examples.

Thank you.

i am retired and live in the middle of nowhere oregon. my customer base are soccer moms, mini vans, and 4 x 4s with an occasional nice car. higher grade waxes are unknown to them. i would first hat them, get their consent and add $50 in rural areas and $100 more in cities and with very upscale cars. your investment in the wax will probably outweigh the added income but it speaks big time to the right customer. good luck

Total FWIW....I wouldn't. If the customer wanted it, I'd either give them the autogeek link to buy it, or depending on the customer, I'd happily consider buying it on his/her behalf and adding the cost to my invoice. My charge would be in the labor time to apply it.

Filter me accordingly - I'm one of the grumpy types who doesn't subscribe to the premium wax hype. :)

If the customer is willing to pay, I'd charge about $10.00 more, think about it, with how thin Fuzion goes on and the price of the mini ($50.00) you'd still come out ahead and make money, just my .02 cents. This way you upgrade them, keep em' happy and don't overcharge. Now, if the wax is more expensive, well, I'd say $25-50.00 depending on the price of the tub, for example something like $200+ a tub.

In my area there are a lot of way high end cars. They get together for coffee at the Home Depot parking lots on Saturday's for "mini" car shows and things like that. Everyone is welcome. I'm trying to capitalize on things like this.
