Which has the best shine? I care more about shine than longevity.

1.Detailer's Max Wax Carnauba Wax

2.Pinnacle XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba Paste Wax - Enhanced Formula!

3. P21S Concours Carnauba Wax

4.Collinite Marque D’Elegance Carnauba Paste Wax #915

I've only used Max Wax and it looks really good, with proper prep. Prep is the key with any wax or sealant so it's really up to you. Do you plan to polish or have you already polished your car?

I have used a sample from forum friend vt of XMT and it works and looks great. Goes on easy. You gonna be polish clay etc or just wax?

-I haven't used your NO.'s 1 & 2 examples...No comment on shine.

-I've used either your NO.3; or your No.4...atop the Klasse Twins...
Which created: "A Most Excellent Shine", at least from my point-of-view.

Of course this was after any 'paint-correction', that I deemed necessary, met my expectations.

Max Wax is one of those hidden gems for the money. I agree with SnowKing, it looks really good.

I used the wolfgang twins and then put upgp (two layers) on top of it. Just looking for the highest shine carnuaba wax. I don't mind going out and applying it every 3-4 weeks

I have number 4 #915 collinite and maxwax. I actually recently applied 915 to half of my car and did the back half with maxwax. This is on black paint so it is very telling. The 915 had a more crisp shine than the maxwax but I liked looks of maxwax better. Reason being is because i enjoy a nice warm wet shine on my paint rather than a sharp crisp look like 915. I think the 915 will suit you best but damn was it hard to remove. I was in a rush at the moment so if you take your time then yu won't have much to worry about . Plus the beading from colliinite paste waxes just show how well it protects.

Col915 hard to beat for a paste wax. The key with all the Collinite waxes is "thin to win"! I put them on with a polisher because I can apply it very thinly and evenly. Never had a problem removing it. Apply it to each panel then remove. I usually remove by hand but it can be done with the polisher and a MF bonnet.

My cars are
-2013 dodge avenger in black
-1985 mercedes 560sel in black
-'87 corvette in arrest me red
-2008 scion xb in dark blue

All have been prepped but I am looking
mainly for a great high shine for dark
cars especially the black two.

I actually like applying a wax every month, would collinite 915 actually be good for me because its a wax that lasts so long and doesnt work well layering so frequently?

I have 2& 3.

I used XMT first and thought wow, this stuffs great. A couple months later i used the P21S and i never looked back. Was easy application and easy off aswell, met my shine demands and I've never looked back. IMO P21S is the best wax for the money and shines great.

My car is a silver Audi A4 and it really brings the wetness too it.:dblthumb2:

Max wax is so awesome and so underated. It's awesome on white paint, really makes the shine pop.
