Was looking at my profile page here at AGO and noticed this statement...

Your date of birth and age are displayed in several places on the forum. Only the administrator will have access to your date of birth should you choose to hide it via the privacy option below.
Please contact the Administrator if your date of birth has changed.

Was someone being funny on purpose?

That's funny. Maybe they meant if you change the display for your date of birth.
 
Actually we have a lock on the birthday, people were changing them to get the birthday code for each birthday they were having each month! Silly .... Silly...:p
 
Darn... a reasonable explanation, but I still love the wording.

Once when I was younger, a hurricane came through on my sisters birthday, the 13th of September, it happened to fall on a Friday that year so of course, someone commented on it being Friday the 13th... Someone else looked up with puzzled look and said their birthday had never fallon on Friday the 13th. There was a few minutes of silence before anyone spoke up to "gently" remind them that it was because their birthday wasn't on the 13th.
