Howdy Folks. :xyxthumbs:
Wow, It’s been a busy . . . . Uhh, long time now down here in our wee shop in New Zealand, & I wondered when I was working on this one whether or not you guys “State Side” got these as something other than a Holden Commodore Sports Wagon or you simply didn’t get these at all.
This is a 2012 Holden Commodore SS Sports Wagon, 6 speed manual, L77 6.0 litre variant. Pretty common here & in Australia but still a cool bit of kit.
Detailing wise - It had the normal swirls, RIDs & associated contamination etc that comes with a seven year old vehicle but all in all nothing to concerning - all in a days work for me. I didn’t bother taking any before pictures of this one & I’m not claiming the Worlds biggest turnaround, more so sharing the car rather than my workmanship.
Normal wash process, decontamination etc was carried out, & in terms of paint enhancement I went with Flex 3401 with Lake Country Manufacturing Blue SDO Pads for the chipping step (6 passes :buffing
with 3D ONE as compound/polish of choice. Stayed with 3D ONE for refining with the 3401 & Orange Lake Country Manufacturing SDO Pads.
A forensic IPA wipe down & coated with Feynlab Ceramic ceramic coating + Feynlab Top Coat.
So so here are the beauty pictures - :xyxthumbs:
There we have it. Appreciate y’all stopping by & checking it out.
