Holy Batman Utility Belt- NEW from Rupes

Sometimes I'm a bull in a china shop. I would scratch a car up in a heart beat. Plus its just like wearing a tool belt at work, to much weight on the hips for to long, is a bad thing.

Many of us make a great effort to cover up belt buckles with our shirts, or remove the belts, keep buttons away from paint while working, as well as making every effort to keep the cords of our tools away from the paint while working with machines, that I'm really surprised to see such a tool offered at AG.

Oh sure, I like it and it looks cool, but the reality is its not something I want on me when detailing on a car/truck/suv and especially a show car. Things on my person that can scratch paint are a big no-no.

However, this would be a nice thing to have when detailing a boat that's on a trailor. I can see it being very useful in that regard. Just my opinion.

+1 no way! I can see that causing all kinds of problems

Seems like it would get in the way and rub against clean paint. No thanks. I'll stick to my Detailing bag. :)

Too bulky for me and would be watching my ever move not to touch the paint with the belt.

An apron works all the same IMO but not bulky, I wouldn't need to have my pads hanging there either, not like I switch every five minutes. Lol

Too high of a price tag for the same task I give my apron with two pockets. Cheaper, not as (cool), but does the same for the most part. Plus anytime I have more than two polishes on my pocket, it gets heavy after so long. That's just me.

It is very nice though.

I agree with what Hoytman said. I put my belt buckle to one side and I wear a microfiber apron to avoid marking the paint. The Rupes Utility Belt looks nice... but that's it for me.
