great generator, we have 2 of them for work. can run an sds max hammer drill and DDEC-1 core drill at the same time on one of them. thats about maxed out. I cant see any detailing tool requiring that much power at once. Should be able to use multiple halogen lights and any polisher at the same time. You can get a lot out of the 2000. dont just add up the wattage of your tools and think thats all you can run. rarely do your tools ever run at full demand.
If your looking to plug 6 things with high demand in at once go for the 3000 instead. But if your looking to move them around by hand a lot (and not mount them somewhere), then for sure go with the 2000 for its portability and light weight.
technically you can buy any generator. but the best thing about these generators is the durability, size and weight. You can drop them, run them in the outside in the pooring rain, inside in extreme dusty situations, never change the oil or clean the air filter and they just keep on going. expendable items are the casing and the vent in the gas cap (although I think they recently went to an upgraded gas cap).
