Hey guyz, I've been working on this car for the past month on and off during my spare time, its my buddies and he is selling it, and he already bought a new car so he was able to leave it with me, so if figured I'd see how clean I could get this thing. I went all out. The biggest improvement had to be the inside, my buddy really didn't give a crap about this car, inside or out, I tried my hardest on the outside, but some of the paint was to far gone, dents, heavy scratches and paintchips. Still I think I did pretty well, and figure he might make a little extra money off it. The pictures will probably take a few threads so bare with me.

Interior:
I completely srtiped the interior taking out everything. The carpet, headliner, seats, spare tire well, and floormats were all cleaned with woolite/water mix and a number of different brushes. I used my foam gun on the carpet once it was out of the car and scrubbed it with a wheel brush. The interior was cleaned and dressed thoroughly with Megs. #40, my go to stuff in any situation, can't find anything better in my opinion. Windows were cleaned with Stoners IG.
Overall I was and still am amazed at how clean it came, and a lot of the cigarette smell is gone. This took me about two weekeneds.

I cleaned the truck mat as best I could, but ended up just spray painting it with some flat black, came out pretty good.

only way to describe that interrior, NIGHT AND DAY! what a difference, If I were looking to buy that car, and saw the way It looked before you did your thing, I would walk away. You did your buddy a big favor with that, can't wait to see the paint.

I still dont get why people waste money on intakes and strut bars and crap like that for a everyday point A to point B car. He coulda spent that money on some cleaning supplies and been way better off lol

Extreme makeover! What a dirty car! Great job cleaning it up!!!:applause:

HOLY FRIKIN COW!!! That is way beyond anything that i would ever dream of doing!!! that is amazing, i almost flipped backwards in my chair when I saw those afters.... that is some bad a$$ detailing there my friend

Are you sure you just didnt go buy a new carpet lol j/k. Thats a insane turn around on the interior. One of the best i ever seen.Great job man!!!!

That is incredable, now that's detailing. Very nice results, man that would be fun to do but lots of work. The interior looks incredable, better then new if you ask me. Very nice job.

Thank you for sharing oh and I'm looking forward to the exterior.

WOW that interior looked like a monster. You turned that monster into a beautiful steed :p. That engine bay is a super extra touch. I'd nab that car if I was looking for a used Civic :D. Hope to see exterior soon!

You are not joking about rebirth. Man you done some hard work there.

You excelled in something I wouldn't have even attempted. I hope your friend doesn't give the new car the same loving tender care that this one was given!

Awesome Rebirth!! Taking carpets out and pressure washing them have somewhat become a regular around my area. When people don't care about their cars it just makes me cringe...

Quick question is that a car stereo ECLIPSE Head Unit model CD8061 or 8062? I'm just asking because I have the CD8061 and it KICKS A$$

That's one Awesome Turnaround!! WOW!! The interior looks new, and that engine bay is spotless. Great work with just Woolite and Megs 40.
Isn't that a strange place for the open air filter to sit? I thought they usually ended at the corners of the engine bay or just below the grill? Looks like it's drawing in hot air, sitting right by the engine, or maybe the hood has a scoop.
