Horrible things you've seen walking by cars.

I did a 2-step on this car maybe 5 weeks ago for a coworker. He ran off the road through some heavy brush and trees last week and wanted me to fix it for a car show this weekend. I was pretty busy doing another car and told him it wasn't in my schedule before this Saturday. Well he took it to a 'guy he knows' and paid $50. Well, he got $50 worth of correction from a guy with a rotary. I already knew what I was in for when he told me.

This is EVERYWHERE! Buffer trails like nobodies business.

I saw a guy the other night at the gas pump using the squiggy thing to clean THE INSIDE of his windows :eek:

A customer at my job once told me he would wash his cars at the gas station WITH the squeegee! I've also seen quite a few people come in asking for antennas because it got ripped off in the automatic wash. Those things are the devil. I love hand washing my car. Wish I could it right now, lol.

Been lurking on this forum for a bit. First post.

Saw this in the way home today. Not sure what the story is here but I'm sure whatever it is, its good.

Remember guys WORK CLEAN!

Hey now, those holograms are proof of a well maintained car, you can see it was polished professionally. It's like a logo. ;)

Well I seen a guy today cleaning his wheels today with charcoal lighter fluid.

Considering (charcoal)lighter fluid is mostly if not all (zippo fluid 100% and some scent) Naphtha, there is no harm in that in my book. it gets the tar off and any oily residue. You may want to re wax, but its safe as long as your not smoking. I have used naphtha for many years as a surface prep for painting aircraft and other stuff. it evaporates quick.

This was more for a dressing as the rest of the car looked somewhat clean

Funny stories. I saw a man driving his car without the windshield and roof, imagining he was driving cabriolet.

The best for me is people at gas stations who clean their whole car with that nasty squeegee on a stick thing.

Now think of this. People clean dirt and bird crap off their windows with the window squeegee, then place it back in the window cleaning solution (which is usually just water). This "water" is rarely "changed", its just "added". So, all of the dirt and bird crap are just floating in the ounce or two that are left on the bottom. The attendant just comes up and "refills it".

Now this happens over and over. Now that the dirt and bird crap is real concentrated, somebody comes along and starts washing their whole car with that squeegee thing. Not to mention all the dirt that is embedded in the squeegee foam itself. I see this all the time.

They think its the greatest thing, like its a tool to clean your car so they don't have to bend over. I love it.

Ha hahaa, I love this!! It reminds me of being 16 again. Thank u

I worked the Russo and Steal Auction last month and car across this Spiker that had a $22 buff job done to it.

I'm not sure how effective the brake vents mounted on the doors will be, but the faux camper top sure makes it look fast!

Saw this truck yesterday in the parking lot. Saw it again today on my way out and it had been washed. You could see the bird bomb etchings running down the sides. I'm sure you could see them on the hood/roof too, but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to take pics. I literally cringed when I saw it like this. YIKES.

Man I wish I could have got a pic but I was driving and and shock! How about a Chrysler 300 with about 100plus of these emblems stuck on it.

The car was covered in them, I have never seen anything like it and bet I never will again. :bolt:
