Hose Foam Cannons vs Water Blaster Cannons

Depends on what you are after. A foam cannon will give you more foam but requires a pressure washer set up. A foam gun is as simple as hooking it up to your garden hose. It won't compare anywhere close when it comes to foaming but the foam produced is there for lubrication.

One of the cars has been mostly Wrapped and with a Top Coat Ceramic Coating.
Does this make any difference I have seen somewhere don't use a water Blaster high pressure on wrapping as can lift if not careful.
I'm looking for a touchless clean.

Yes a PW may catch an edge of your wrap and can lift it. No such thing as a touchless cleaning. I chased that dragon for a while and it is not a possibility.

No such thing as touchless clean unless all you have on the car is dust. There needs to be contact to clean properly and that’s why most of the times I don’t foam at all, it’s a waste of soap unless the car is so dirty touching it is a big risk.

How do you wash?
 
I’m on the other spectrum of foaming as i rhink it does make a difference. Even if just dusty i feel the pre foam will romove some dust just not all. The less things on your paint the less marring.

Could be overkill? Maybe but why not. Even when rinseless washing i will snofoam/presoak if possible.

If the car is not dirty, I just do a rinseless wash in the garage. If it's dirty, I'll spray the car with water first, then proceed with 2 bucket method. A couple of years ago I'd foam the first first and then do 2BM with a mitt but realized that was just wasting my soap since my car was never that dirty. A rinse with water first is enough to remove the loose stuff sitting on the car.

It could be different if my car was very dirty though.
 
Using buckets is too risky for me. I'll use my foam gun and plenty of soap. I dont care how much soap I use as long as I'm saving my clear and not having to spend even more by having to polish but to each his own.
