Hoses..

Whatever you do, don't go to Home Depot and buy those green hoses. on the packaging they all claim that they don't kink. What a Sham.

There is a review of the PRO version of the X hose on autopiaforums.
I'm old and don't know how to do that linky thing.

I hate the type of hose originally posted by the OP. They tangle up and have no flow. I've used every hose known to man. I liked the concept of the expandable hoses so I bought one of the cheap ones at walmart. . .Broke it in a week but liked how it worked.

I found an industrial expandable hose called the X hose Pro by Dap. It is extremely durable and has very solid brass fittings. It WILL NOT kink and weighs almost nothing.

I have two 25ft hoses in my shop and love them. They also sell them in longer lengths.

Just wanna know if the DAP Hose is holding up?

Thx

Mike

Have a DAP Pro with the black sheath that just blew up on me. Used only for car washing. The sheath developed a rip and that was it, $40 down the drain. Switched back to a heavier, clunkier regular hose.

Thxs...I figured that would happen whatever the hype says...

But Bed and Bath is down the block from me and they don't ask any questions , so I just replace and move on..and when or if they run out of them , the wife gets a store credit
Cant lose situation

I know I'm late to this thread, but the Flexzilla hose is my favorite by far. Stays very flexible, doesn't kink easily, and is nowhere near the weight of my craftsman all rubber.

Bought 4 of them to put throughout my house and the back yard, every single one of them broke within 2 months. They shipped me 2 more and guess what, they broke too. Don't waste your money with that expandable hose junk.

Looks like Sears/Kmart has cheapest price for 75 ft @ $49
but takes 8-10 days to order

I'll wait till my 2 flexes pop :(

I have a fifty feet of rubber hose, but now it has been aging, and I was ready to go to the Amazon site to buy a new hose ..... I want to buy a size longer rubber hose.
