Hey guys, i just need to put my mind at ease, i accidentally used a household cleaner ( with ammonia ) on my factory tinted windows. Will they be damaged now? I cant see anything odd but i'm really concerned. I only used it once.

Ammonia only effects tint applied to the interior of the glass. Factory tint is IN the glass, nothing to worry about.

Phew, i see so its not a film on the inside. thanks man.

Even if applied directly to tint, you can get away with anything one time.
Can there be damage if applied directly? Yes.
However, the concentration of ammonia in most homemade and retail glass cleaners is so little, that used one time would typically not yield a negative result.
It is continuous use of such glass cleaner that would do the damage over time.

Just get ammonia free, some tints of specific quality will have interference with the ammoniA
