How about a "Paint Hardness" stickie?

Somewhere where people can list paint hardness based on make/model? Would help when someone is going to be working on a car soon and might want to know what to look out for.

The only real way to tell how hard or show paint is by doing a test spot. A spread sheet will give you a good start of what the paint should be.

I agree with Todd although you can make gernalization about hardness the only true way to tell is by doing a test spot (which should always be done).

Here is an example from Mike in Which two Audi's both same year make and model but one being soft and one being hard.
