How big of a vehicle to empty a bottle of OC2.0 (Pic's)

Beautiful job Chris, I wouldn't expect anything less coming from you. How did the Cyclo compare to using a traditional DA? Right now I have a Griot's 6" but looking at the Rupes Bigfoot, would you recommend the Cyclo? Did you cut and finish with it? Regarding the application of OG like Chris did, I had to try it out and I prefer that method now. I have the puck applicator but haven't used it yet, just the traditional yellow foam. I may have to look into the CarPro apps now. Thanks!
Hey thanks much for the compliment.
I am a fan of the Cyclo and it can/will cut and finish down great (depending on the pad being used). When using the MF pads and OPT HC,I did get some marring.Put on the Cyclo green pads and Menz SIP,finished down great.
I would recommend the Cyclo. The roof was a breeze to correct with the Cyclo because it's balenced well and you can reach out and operate it with one hand.

Nice job Chris. The truck looks amazing. If that used up almost a hole syringe I wonder how much my truck would use since its a crew cab.
Thank you.I would think a crew cab (single coverage) would at least use 10cc-15cc covering the wheels and glass.

Great work :dblthumb2:

This process on application looks very interesting :)

But wouldn't there still be plenty of product wasted because it was absorbed by microfiber towel?

Maybe not... I don't know this towel, but I have seems one here that seems close from the towel they are talking about and it doesn't seems to absorb or hold water that well...

Maybe one can do a test: Take a towel like this one of the car pro and spray 303 on one side.... :props:
Maybe now only very little from opti-coat will be kept on the side not treat with 303, but enough to still be able to do the leveling job....

Great work Chris! I am really glad you like the Cyclo! I havent tried it with MF yet. The Cyclo pads are great quality and I have a ton of 6+ MF pads for my Flex 3401. I too am applying more OG. Now that it is layerable, I dispense 7 ml for an average sedan and 10 ml for an SUV. I apply heavier than I used to and knock off the high spots with a CarPro suede. Whatever is left over goes back over the horizontal panels. I still prefer the 2.5 oz pump mist sprayers over the syringe. The syringe is superb for storing but is not my preferred delivery system.

Richard, I am not Chris but the Cyclo is a great machine, The RUPE will be a killer machine but its stroke is an incredible 21 mm or ~.8" this is twice the stroke of your GG. I think it may be a trick to finish down with such a big stroke, This is my opinion only. I know Chad has one on order, and he is not a 3401 fan. IMO the CYclo is the easiest machine I have in my tool bag. It will cut equal or better than your GG and is built for a lifetime of use.

Why are you guys rather using OG instead of Opti-Coat ? Just wondering what are the benefits....

Opti , OG, is the pro version of OC. It flashes much faster, so IM told. It can get wet 15 minutes after applying.. It has more resins I believe. I have never used oc. og IS 40 ML'S FOR $100. aS FAR AS i KNOW, ONLY oPTIMUM SELLS IT. yOU HAVE TO HAVE A BUSINESS AND SIGN A WAIVER.

Nice... I'm using OC with my costumers, but I want to try OG... although I'm usually working on poor lighting which can be a bad thing with OG, but I have never messed up with OC.

I was wondering if OG will be harder (more swirl resistant), than OC....

This is something I'm looking to buy.... it will make it sometime on my next cart...

How long does the battery lasts ? Does it helps to see the polish spread on the car too ?
