How can I get better pictures?

I suggest this if you can change the settings.

1.Use a tripod & picture timer (need for super low ISO or it's going to look crummy)
2.Drop that ISO as low as it can go
3.Drop exposure a little to hide excess light & only show light from reflection & give the color a deeper look.
4.Try to capture the whole subject not one side of it (Have the whole car in the picture)
5.Even a little work in photoshop can help bring out color.

Quick Photoshop fix:
You just really tinker with it until you like what you see.
Before:

After:
Not perfect you can see some noise in the picture but that can be fixed & it's always better to work with a RAW image from the camera.

Another mess around with Gamma & Saturation

The main thing that killed your photos was the composition. You need to have a direction in the photo, ie the car going towards something. By cutting the front of the car off you lose that. First photo would be better if the left was close to he car and the right had some space next to it, for the car to "move into". This is of course if you wanted nice pictures rather than good pictures to show defects ;) Google will have many nice car photos to copy, good way to learn is by imitation :)
