How can I polish out fine Scratches in Windows

I have a 92 Bronco that I would like to get tinting on the windows. The problem I have is that the rubber sweeps in teh door had hardened, broken and chipped over the past 21 years. It has made very fine scratches on the door windows and I would like to polish them out before I get them tinted.

I've been searching for awhile and all the options I put into Search have come up empty. Anyone have any info on getting these scratches out? I vaguely remember seeing some product once on Trucks, Gearz, 2Guys, or somewhere so I know there wat least WAS something out there that would work.

Any threads or search words I can use that would get me to threads would be appreciated. I've tried Window Restoration, Window Scratches and nothing brings up what I need.

Car Pro's Ceri Glass will remove light scratches. You will need a buffer to do a good job with cerium oxide.

To polish glass you need Cerium Oxide and glass polishing pads. I don't remember where I got mine but Goog CO and the pads should be on the suppliers list.
Then you tape off EVERYTHING and put towels up, taped up.
CO is a powder and I used water in a spray bottle, so it goes everywhere.
It is possible to do this, just take your time.
And I used a rotary buffer with a 3" backing plate.

Thanks. Luckily, the glass is my Door glass so I can actually remove it prior to polishing. The rest of the glass is fine, aside from the usual 21 years of spotting and such that can easily be taken care of by other means. The door glass is the problem. I have new rubber seals for the door so it won't be an issue after I fix it.

For anything more than a very light scratch, you would want to use silicon carbide first to sand out the scratches out of the glass, then polish with a pad that will conform to the curvature of the glass. If you use a flat hard pad, even to polish on curved glass, it will look terrible.
