How close is Stuart to Fort Myers or Fort Lauderdale?

Hey I'll be playing both areas on the next tour, and wanted to swing by the AG place and say thanks for everything, and maybe pick up some stuff for a order...
 
An hour above Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers is more like three hours.
 
Downtown Ft Lauderdale is around exit 28...we are off exit 101 on I-95. So if you maintain a steady 70-80mph, we're about an hour away.
 
Lauderdale isn't far, Fort Myers is. I forgot who your with, Disturbed right? Are you coming down with them?
 
Yes I'll be through with Disturbed. No access to a car, only travel in the bus... So guess I won't be able to make it to the shop. :-(

Yeah pretty screwed up video... I've heard him talk about it only once, was something to do with a case he worked on his old job as a health care administrator, I think... But don't quote me on that...
 
I passed Ag on the way home from orlando on wed night you can see there building from the turnpike but no close exit to get too them.I guess 95 would be alot easier I thought disturbed was playing mizna park ???

Our building is visible from the turnpike, but like you said, there is no direct turnpike exit. You need to get off the turnpike at Stuart/Palm City, head east at the light, head south at the next light, go to I95 south, hop on for 1 exit, get off at Stuart and make a right and another right and you'll be at our warehouse. Confused yet? :cheers:

Yeah I took the vid down, all the disturbed vids on youtube are acting screwy? But actually I thought it was an ex-gf of his that committed suicide, could swear I rad that somewhere or someone told me?

I want to see them and Killswtich Engage put a concert on together :righton: , KSE is pry by favorite band
 
Well Surfer you got your wish hahahaha... Our next leg in March is KSE and Disturbed with Chimaira and Lacuna Coil. I've worked for 3 of the 4 bands on the tour, and have known Howard since I was 16, and he was in a crappy local band in Columbus before he moved to Mass area.

Also I'm not sure what venues we're playing, just know those are the areas I'll be in... If they have the Fuzion for the special at that point I might have to rent a car to go pick some up!
 
this is awesome!!! Whats your job with Disturbed????? I saw that you said you're traveling with them or something like that, but i just wanted to know ??
 
I'm the drum tech. Setup Mikes kit, tune it, repair, clean it (you guys will love this!), play (badly) for line check before they come in for soundcheck.

As for cleaning. You guys have to see his kit, but it was painted by Nubbie from Nub Graffix of American Chopper Fame. So it's a basecoat clearcoat paint job. She's got some swirls, I don't have the time to try and polish those out, but she's getting a fresh coat of Wolfgang DGPS and cleaned daily with the Wolfgang Detailing Spritz. I didn't bring my KAIO for cleaning the hardware this time though. That just get's a cleaned with some Surf City Garage glass cleaner on a MF towel daily. Cymbals get cleaned by some metal polish I picked up in Austria that I can't even translate but it works great.

Autogeek taken to a new level hahaha!

Also look for Disturbed on Jimmy Kimmel Live on the 28th. You'll see the kit looking it's best. Wolfgang will make it's national TV broadcast debut on something other than a car! LOL
 
Hahahh that is an amazing job you have right there. Ill be looking forward to Wolfgang's shine on national television hahah woo woo. Keep us posted on some of that stuff...heck take some pictures when you get a chance of the drums!!!! welcome to AG, its like heaven on earth, but for cars.............and now drum kits!!!!

BTW-- is the kit you're talkin about the one with the faces on the bass drums????

I've been on AG for about 2 years now LOL, and posting for a while. The one I'm talking about is from this last summers Mayhem festival tour.

Also the reason that alot of the music videos aren't working right on YouTube is because Warner Bro's had them removed cause they can make money from them being sold for download. So no more free official videos, BOO!

I'd take pics if I could but all I have is my iPhone with me. I don't do pictures on the road that much cause I don't like to carry a camera on days off, and don't have time show day generally. Maybe I'll take some pics though next time we prep for a few days of me hitting it with some KAIO and DGPS hehehehe...

Badass lineup, KSE rules, Howard is the shiznit :righton: , have the dvd live, incredible seeing them play live. And I'm going to marry Cristina Scabbia :cheers:

Surfer I could introduce you LOL! She's been dating Jim Root (Slipknot/Stone Sour) for almost 5 years now. Introduced the two on Ozzfest.

AudiTT no worries dude, just foolin with you. If I can get away with it too I'll see if I can sneak a little sticky note into the Jimmy Kimmel taping that says Hi to autogeekonline.net community or something like that...
 
HAHHAHA that would be awesome man. I think if that were to happen we'd all be proud to be members here.
