How detail geek are you?

this video keeps popping up every couple of months. Product is Zymol and yes this guy details some serious rides.
 
Seen it before. I personally don't like the idea of applying wax by hand, without using proper applicator.
 
Yeah its a marketing thing. I respect him noticing all the folks of money in the uk with those nice rides, yet the only things he seems to use a good detailer wouldnt is the zymol concours, and the citrus based everything. Im personally waiting when he gets some sand stuck in the hand wax, SCRAAATCH.
 
I don't like the wax with bare hands hand... can you imagine doing that and then have your nose itching or something... no no
 
I've seen this alot. He is a detailing/marketing genius in my opinion. This is actually the clientel that I'm going for here. Well, more like 60k Denallis and Vettes but you know what I mean. Someone who basically doesn't biotch about 75.00 for shampooing a rolling dumpster!

Got a better one for you, try using Hurculiner and forgetting it's on your hands and then going to take a quick pee outside.....need I go further with the story:D. I may have to post it in off-topic, real, and funny as hell.

As for the wax guy, it's all how you position yourself in the market. People see him as the go-to guy and will pay that price. Just like in my line of biz, you have guys who will easily charge 10-20K per deal upfront even sometimes, while myself I'm usually at around 5-6K. I could charge more, and even just had a client tell me to charge them more for what I had to clear for her deal, but didn't. I'm content. But more power to him if people are willing to pay!
 
after seeing some of the work done at this forum, i belive that many of you guys here, could kick his a## when it comes to detailing a car.

Who would pay 5.000,- punds for a car WASH!!!!!! Justin (at this forum) takes some 200 to 400 usd for a detailing job (Right?) and i think that the work justin does is just as shiny.....wait a minute....maybe that dude from UK has been reading this forum to, no wonder hes getting it sparkling and shiny

I too have seen this many times. He appears to be a good detailer and a GREAT marketer.
