How do I get that "wet look"?

The wet sand, cut and buff was done after I felt the painted cured for a bit. It had never quite the same since. I can't put a exact date on the sand, but would have been well after the paint had cured id say.

I've personally never tried a glaze. Would love too but they seem a rarity in Australia!

The WEt Look comes from Polishing...

The wet look starts with making the paint as flat and smooth as possible. Then polishing and applying "something" that was formulated to create gloss and shine like a wax, sealant or coating.

Fresh paint looks great when the car comes out of the paint booth a good professional polishing process will take these results to a higher level and regular polishing and protecting maintains the level achieved.

Gloss starts first with a smooth surface...

This is the definition of a high gloss finish!
