wash-clay-polish-clean-protect, is how I detail cars. Vettes have a notoriously hard clear coat. Knowing that, a more agressive polish/pad combination is usually necessary. I love what jimmie said and most people on here would agree,
menzerna Super Intense Polish (AKA SIP or PO83Q) with a Orange Lake County CCS Pad.
Followed by
Menzerna Nano Polish (AKA 106FF) or PO85RD with a Blue CCS Pad
Both Found here:

Any Sealant will work, again I agree with Jimmie, I use the Wolfgang Sealant.
The Wax that Jimmie suggested is also very good, but depending on what level of shine you want, you may want to step up to the WolfGang Fuzion
Both the Sealants can be found here:

You absolutely need to get a polisher. The Porter Cable 7424 or the Flex or the UDM (Ultimate Detailing Machine) are all great.

Here is a great kit to get you started:

Good Luck and welcome to detailing. Just know that it's addicting.

Look at the Pinnacle Sizzling Shine Souveran kit. Comes with the wash, paint cleanser, wax, and spray and all considered the best of the best for reds.

If you are going to polish via machine, add in a Flex orbital and some Menzerna (106FF and SIP) polishes. You will be dressed your best for all occasions.

Hi fellas, this is my first day on the forum. I have an electron blue 2002 Corvette. I have used Zaino in the past and the shine is good but not great. It may be my application. But it is a multi part mix it up brand and I want to try another option. Don't have a machine. And want to start from absolute scratch. I would appreciate any suggested courses of action.

ThanksFeed back please
