Not really sure what the best method is... thought I'd ask here since most are very detail oriented!

Oh yeah, don't spray whatever you use ONTO the screen. Spray into/onto a cloth.

The manual says to use a spacific LCD cleaner or Water

plexus - i am with sparkie.
and a mf towel. i use it on my nav screen too.

just use water and a MF, nto abrasive and enough moisture to loosen any stains up. thats what i do and i have HPs ultra-super-duper-highly-reflective-cant-see-anything-on-the-screen-but-i-can-see-what-is-behind me screen

Never use windex on LCDs. Windex contains Ammonia which will RUIN your screen.

Water sprayed onto a microfiber will do an excellent job.

Sounds like a good cleaner to me.

It is, and reduces dust as well. For $14 I think, it includes a nice cloth (not sure quite what it is) and the cleaner. I've ordered other products from them as well.

The Windex for electronics said it was safe for LCD's... so I used it.

Quickshine on a MF only because I read it here.........it works great.

Yup, same here that works great. I put that stuff on all my electronics now and it really cuts down on the amount of dust they collect.

Me to -- the anti static in 425 works great on my lap top screen, tv and monitors. Been using it over year without a problem.
