Yes..the fruits of your labor. I was actually amazed when I applied meg's 16 on my hood..it never looked so glossy lol.

I would agree with all the points brought up. Experience, establishing a system and staying organized are the biggest factor in becoming a more efficient detailer. I've slashed my detail times by staying with the same routine for each vehicle and learning what defects are worth spending extra time on and really "going after". Plus with new products like 360, Poli-Seal & Opti-Seal hitting the market, I'm sure its possible to cut even more time off details while still achieving the same end result. My PS and OS come today, and I have a 2002 Silverado and 2005 Grand Cherokee waiting to be the test rats...

There is some great infor being shared here. I still take a long time to detail a vehicle oh and that's only the exterior, I guess it all depends on the vehicle and the shape it's in.

Surfer, it took me about 4 or 5hrs to do the interior on my SUV..I know what you mean about taking a long time hahahaha. That's why I'm amazed at how quickly justin can do them.

12.5 hours Tuesday on a 850,000 mile 1999 Peterbuilt Century Classic inside and out,
my first and hopefully last big truck.

Awesome "Orngez!" People please give times so it motivates all us slow peeps to get a moving! LOL!

I feel the pain. I have from this forum cut my wash time down to 15-20 minutes. Now I have to get the rest of the car time also. I hate swirls I guess I am picky but I get bogged down in the details.

This is some good information . It took me 3 and a half hours just to wash and dry my car. Just got my order in yesterday, and just using the guzzler it saved me a bunch of time.

My first attempt took five days. This included claying, polishing, Klasse AIO and three applications of SG with curing time as well as all the trim details (bumper guards, tires & wheels, air dam, chrome et cetera) before two coats of carnauba paste by hand. It was my initiation with the PC so I had to learn its quirks. Generally polish but once per year, and hope to finish everything but that in under three days. Yes, I am extremely thorough with all details.

The guaranteed way to get it done faster is to have kids to feed and a wife on you.LOL:DAnd detailing is the only way to make money.
