I'm in the market for a new interior piece and I'm heavily looking into a tornador black. I still need a compressor and was looking into a craftsman 33 gal that does 5.1CFM at 90psi.
I see some posts going back and forth about problems and just wanted to know the overall? How well does it work on carpets? I see people using it around the radio and stuff, I'm not sure I'd trust that? How well does it do on carpets and seats? What would you say its limitations are? I currently have megs APC would you suggest something else? Thanks

Re: How do you like your "Tornado"

I personally don't own a tornado. It seems a bit dangerous to me. Not to mention impossible.

However I do own a tornador and I love it. It helps a bunch. Compressor you mentioned should be ok to use one.

Now back to this tornado you have. How do you get to own one of them?

LOL. Made the correction! What is the big difference between the "Black" and say the one AG sells? What would make it worth the price difference?

I would not go without my tornador. It is simply awesome and has helped our detailing company to be faster and do more thorough jobs.

However, I would get the Tornador classic. I got the tornador black and returned it because it did not do nearly as good of a job as the original.

The original with the replacement stainless steel cone will make a huge difference and last you a very long time.

I love mine it make life so much easier for me! I bought an older industrial compressor from craigslist for $300 it could probably run 2 continually and the compressor itself is quiet enough you can talk over it standing beside it. The tornador black it a little louder then i expected though.. but I can safely say I never plan on detailing again without using the tornador....

It's a nice tool for vents but for heavy door cleaning didn't do to well my vapor steamer excelled in that area

I guess my thing is I don't think I'm ready to drop the coin on an extractor or steamer yet and the tornador seemed like one of those things that could really help my interior cleaning. The way I have my 6.5hp vac hooked up it does well for pulling up the water. I understand I lack heat at that point but, with my work only being weekends its hard to spend extractor/steamer money.

I got u on that bud I'm a weekend warrior myself but had to get the tools make things go little faster that's all... The tornador Is a great tool I still use mine it just not the bread and butter does help a lot will def be happy when if u buy one

How many interiors do you think it can handle before servicing it? How much faster is it to complete an interior?
