Heated garage:awesome:

Do you have a spigot and a drain in there too? If so let me know when you're moving and I'll buy the house from you. I don't care what it looks like, how big it is, or where it's located. If it's got a garage with heat, spigot, and drain I'm buying it!! :D

Well it has a soft water spigot (cold only), no drain but it is sloped to the center then out. A quick squeegee of any little puddles and I am good. The furnace is a Modine Hot Dawg I picked up at Homedepot, which permits an easier side wall (horizontal) vent installation.

What does that furnace run on? Gas? Wood pellets? Oil? What?

I have an electric heater in my garage, but no spigot, drain, and for that matter no insulation so I don't run the heater. Running the electric heater in an uninsulated garage gets REAL expensive real fast.

lol im in NY on the great lakes (oswego) we had the highest snowfall in ny last year, every day we have about 30mph wind its sucks, in my hometown upstate ny it's just super cold like -20 -30 range

I just go to the coin ops, nothing elese or all that water will freeze in your gorage or driveway

It runs on natural gas, and is a true forced air furnace. It can heat the garage up to 75 easy in about 15-20 minutes, although I never run it like that. I have fully insulated the garage and it's about 80% dry walled, so it holds heat pretty well. I do whish I had a drain but I guess it's against building code in my area.

My neighbors think I'm crazy. Sometimes I'm out at 11pm in my driveway washing my car or truck in 40 degree weather in shorts, t-shirt, sandals, and halogens aiming from all directions, lol.

oh yeah I have hot water in my buckets. that helps!

That's what I'm talking about! My neighbors look at me, and they probably think, - "this guy forgot to take his medication, or something?"

Im the MAN

The ultimate garage: floor drain, water, lighting, heating and cooling. If I ever build a house ....

I can dream anyway.
