I need some ideas for organizing all my products towels, ect, ect. I have my own detailing closet down stairs, the problem is my products are in large bins. So every time I need something I have to move bins to get to it. Well thats getting old and disorganized eveytime I go in. I do have a storage room outside but that hold car parts/jack.jack stanks/Latter/H2O heater/Spare car battery, ect ect. I need something inside. Any idea's?? Feed back please

Have a bin container thingy with shelves for the regular products and a plastic container with microfibers in sections for their use. Though I'm gonna get a larger container with drawers and each one will be labeled paint/wheels/interior/glass etc.

These stack on top of each other very very nicely:

Pads, MF's, gloves, applicators, etc. all go in here:

Man check out Pats and sparkie's bins...wow lots of stuff there!!!

Oh hey sparkie, I'm doing the same thing to my garage floor. I was thinking tiling it but I changed my mind after I got a mental picture of me slipping and falling on my rear end when washing the vehicle lol...so I've bought the products...oh and I bought two kits just in case one isn't enough. I like your set up buddy, I'm going to try to copy you..lol...I know how original but the way I see it I don't need to re-invent the wheel again. Those bins are wicked, I just have to remember to bring certain things inside the house during winter.

I have a couple of those bins, there just isn't enough room for more. I'd like to get something like Sparkie has just for inside duty instead. Or a smaller version or it to fit my gallons and bottles.

I use my products very regularly so i have no need to keep them in a closet or closed storage system...this shelf i got at home depot for 50 bucks...i know costco carried a bigger version that is chromed....i would have bought a bigger shelf but my garage wouldnt allow for it...plus i like the black powder coated color :) the pc and rotary are kept on the top shelf...

Hard to see in this pic, but I have 3 drawers on the side with MFs, tools and applicators, mitts etc. Buckets on top and light next to it. Vacuum is always in use so it usually just goes somewhere "close" to the cabinet. Everything was about $50 at Lowes.

I use pegboard and zip lock bags. I will see if I can find a pic.

I do mine by type ... and leave room for addtl products.

Polishes --- washes ---protectants ---synthetics ---interior ---glass ----carnauba

I thought you was going to heat your garage? Change your mind?

Surfer, your to funny!lol

I put mine in random order. At least it seems that way sometimes. I try to put them on the same cabinet shelf based on what a product's used for.

I used to keep mine pretty well organized in my cabinet, but I'm running out of space so now stuff seems to be all over the place. I really need to upgrade to a better storage solution.

Here are some things that I've been thinking since we need storage space inside. I take it you mean in the house where the temp is more consistant or is inside the garage good? Here's what I've been thinking of doing since your thread motivated me to start doing something.
Take matching two or three clear drawer plastic cabinets. Put one on each end and span across the tops with a 1x12 shelf. Keep stacking like that. There's room under some shelves to slide clear tubs or plastic baskets of MF's, etc. Might work at the bottom of a closet or two.

Yeah I want to keep them inside the house, I think I'm going to try and sqeeze a cabnet like Sparkie has into my current detailing closet. All I would have to do is remove a shelf and it looks like it would fit.

I got some great ideas from this thread right here :)
