How do you organize you products??

Just bought one of these :D

Good for when the friends call for a vehicle detail. Also effective to store my bottles and PC. I don't have a lot of free space at home, so this is great :)

Man that thing is sweet...where did you get it? does it open up or is it more like a bunch of tool boxes stacked together?

Sorry I got off thread.

Nice buy! I like that! Something else to add to my "wish list. Do you find it roomy enough? Any pics of it set up with your supplys?

i have the majority of my products on 2 three tier shelves in the basement along with a few sterlite drawers..

I'll take some more detailed pictures of it tommorow or something.
The top two sections come off.
The middle section might be useless for us, but I plan on leaving that at home as it doesn't serve me much purpose. Might fit smaller bottles and stuff in there. Or stuff MF cloths in there...hehe.

It was 100 dollars plus tax @ home depot. www . homedepot . ca (not sure if you have that in the states or not). It is made by stanley, and someone posted a link up top.

It is really sturdy and surrounded by metal.

More pics will follow :) I spent all day looking for something like this and was getting frusterated at the cheap plasticy ones I was finding that were just as expensive. When I found this one I was like "GASP! THATS THE ONE!" As if I had found 100 bucks or something.

The pieces come apart, so it should fit in a trunk pretty easily.

Ok, I couldn't resist getting some quick pictures before bed.
(PLEASE.....ignore the mess and sister's toys in the basement! I took these pictures very quickly and only for AG!) Enjoy!!!

Front View

Back View. Spot to hold a power cable or whatever else that can be wound around there. The long handle extends I believe.
IMG_2337.jpg

Top drawer out with my PC (still new in box) and a bottle of XMT pad conditioner (to guage height) Top drawer also comes with an organizer tray which I probably won't use.
IMG_2338.jpg

Middle Drawer out with just the bottle of XMT Pad Conditioner. The middle section may be too small and useless to some. Might be able to fit pads, or MF cloths or small bottles here.
IMG_2339.jpg

Middle section with the yellow pull out drawers. Stuck a bottle of XMT Pad Conditioner again just to guage size, etc etc...
IMG_2340.jpg

Bottom section does not have a cover. It assumes you will have one of the above sections on top of it.
IMG_2341.jpg

Bottom section again....Lots of room here for MANY MANY stuff!
IMG_2342.jpg

The top and middle section can be carried sepreatly, each with its own handle.
IMG_2343.jpg

Middle section out, top section fits perfectly on the bottom if you don't want to bring the middle section. This was GOOD THINKING on stanley's part!

Wheel is sturdy and decent sized. Im not worried about it.

I am a very picky person when it comes to buying things. I am sure many will be happy with this product if they decide to purchase it. I don't know about durability as I haven't used it yet, but it looks decent!

i dont think you will like the stanley rolling toolbox...doesnt seem like the right thing for detailing...you should just go ahead an send it to me and I will let you know my findings :) haha i saw one of these at costco..i liked it but my trunk is designed for mobile detailing already....and it wont fit in my car would be another reason i didnt buy it....

Driving a 350Z? Not much fits in there I don't think. However the handle comes off, so the highest point of the whole thing is the height of the bottom section once you take the top two off.

And no problemo about the pics. This forum has helped me plenty so far, and I haven't even gotten a chance to detail my car yet this year. Waiting for the weather to get warmer :( East coast canadian weather = the pits. Wish I had a garage :( The pics are my way of helping and giving back? LOL

Man, I might stop by costco on monday. If its cheaper there, I will see if home depot price matches...if not, I'll pick it up there and return one to homedepot. I didn't think to check costco today (altho a bit out of my way), and their stock is never guaranteed.

If anyone else needs/wants more pics, let me know :P don't go too crazy tho. And orngez, I'll send you the little piddly useless top organizer tray :P hehehe. You might be able to sell that for a buck or two on ebay and buy one MF cloth :D

bossboy that looks great, thanks all for you insght/.02 it has helped me a bunch.

Should take a picture of that :D
I was looking at getting an S2000, but man is that trunk small. Fit my subwoofer in there, and thats it. LOL

So I may not get it in the end.

the passenger seat tends to be my "second trunk"

lets see more pics!!! I really need more ideas on how to store my stuff.
I have a carport so it has to be carried in and out of the house. I'm prob gonna go with some kind of Rubbermaid tub or something.....
