You won't have to clean it. It's a high flow unit (unlike a HVLP gun that has tiny openings). If it ever starts to drizzle, just screw the end open a little more, pull the trigger to blow out the buildup, then tighten back down where you had it set.
Thanks for that tip Chris. I was about to say I have never cleaned my sprayer and haven't had any problems. I leave it filled and ready to go.
