...to glazes in terms of swirl filling ability?

I already have Souveran Paste Wax but i was considering getting Paint Cleansing Lotion and Souveran Liquid as a three punch combo.

I used the pinnacle paintwork cleansing lotion one time before applying pinnacle sovereign paste. It was ok at filling but I was expecting better. Honestly, I got better filling from Meguiars #7 glaze. Pinnacle was much easier to apply when compared to Meguiars and I felt it did a good job at removing old wax from the paint. I wasn't a fan of the smell of pinnacle paintwork cleansing lotion, it kind of smelt like paint thinner. Overall, it was a decent product but it's filling abilities were lacking imo.

A glaze will fill for sure but a pre-wax cleaner's strength is cleaning; not filling. You will get some filling should the marketing material indicate that it has filling ability but your mileage will vary.

If you DEFINITELY want filling on any and all swirls, then do not look to a pre-wax cleaner.

Other tidbits:

Pinnacle PCL is chemical-based cleaning so there is no abrading of the paint at all.

Wolfgang's PPE may fill a little better then PPCL because there are abrasives in this product. How much? Who knows.... this is more of a theoretical exercise for me. :-)

Thanks for the input guys.

Yankees, thanks for your first hand input.

Betty, in an ideal world we would never need a glaze. Unfortunately it's impossible to keep a daily driven vehicle completely swirl free. Especially if it's black and has the softest paint in the world.

Mwoolfso, the packaging states it has filling ability. Hence the questions "compared to a glaze?"
